Quatro sofisticados nova-iorquinos se encontram para jantar em uma noite chuvosa. Uma história contada durante o jantar dá início a uma conversa entre Max (Larry Pine) e Sy (Wallace Shaw), dois escritores, que passam a discutir a dualidade do drama humano através das máscaras da tragédia e da comédia. Os dois escritores passam então a desenvolver duas histórias, uma cômica e outra trágica, protagonizadas por uma mulher chamada Melinda (Radha Mitchell).

**English** The idea was good, the execution was horrible, as the protagonist Melinda, in two identical stories, but with different aspects, one tragic and the other comic, the stories mix together in a very homogeneous way, almost impossible to differentiate them, except for some nuances in the comedy in the drama, and the underused external interference of the narrators, but a Woody Allen film that I dislike, just as I feel disgust for him as a person... Silly, boring, slow, boring, forgett...
