A Peruvian-Dutch-German 3D animated film, “a magical tale set in the Amazon of mythological creatures from the legend of the rainforest, and most importantly, told from the perspective of indigenous characters.” Yacuruna as a villain represented by the white man who exploits wealth and decimates peoples, could well be our Brazilian tribes (if it weren’t for the distinctive indigenous costumes)...
